Tete, bubo, ha, babe...

Translation: tete (Spanish for paci), bubbles, hi, and Baxter - one of our dogs. I *think* those are some of his first words. In an area where the "first word" is celebrated with bells and whistles, I haven 't been able to figure out what Lukas' first word was or is. He says several random words and the above are the ones I can decipher, for now.

"Tete" he squealed one night as we walked into his room and I went to get his pacifier in preparation for going to sleep.

"Bubo" he said today excitedly as I took out the bubble maker and proceeded to blow some bubbles.

"Ha" he says sometimes in the morning and we've noticed that it usually comes after we greet him loudly in the morning.

"Babe" (not the babe that you'd use as a pet name for a girlfriend or boyfriend, but the actual syllables sounded out) he's said a few times looking at Baxter. I think he's said something similar to Buffy, our other pup, but I can't remember what that was right now... I wonder what will be next.
