Lukas can now stand on his own - sometimes! He started doing this a few days ago, but he's doing it more and more now. He'll either pull up and let go and stay standing for a few seconds until he realizes it and goes back down, or he'll stay standing when I put him down on the floor. It's so cute, and it just shows us that before we know it, he's going to be running circles around us. Where o where has the time gone! He was this little immobile thing almost a year ago and now he can't sit still.
Today was his first open house for school. We went in with abuelita and met with his new teachers. We received the list of needed items for the new "toddler" room, and we were shown the ropes. He will no longer be napping in a crib. Nope, now he will have a little cot of his own. All the kids have free reign of the room and it is awesome seeing him zoom throughout the room as if he were king. He felt so comfortable there and he was having fun.
And he's getting 2 more teeth - the top left incisors. One already broke through (top left lateral incisor) and the next one's getting ready to break through (top left central incisor). That will leave him with a total of 6 teeth (4 top, 2 bottom) at 12 months. My baby... he's entering toddlerhood!
