Trials and tribulations of finding childcare

So we're trying to find childcare. We've looked at daycares and nannies, although we just started this process a few weeks ago. We've looked at three daycares, interviewed two nannies, and called a third. It's just so hard because, well, nothing's good enough for my little one, or it's ridiculously expensive! There doesn't seem to be a middle ground. Lukas has smiled at each of these places/people, just like he does with everyone and they all seem smitten by him, but eh, I don't know... no place/person is going to be me taking care of him. One place is good, but it's just as expensive as having a nanny, but then bringing someone in who we don't know is scary, especially when taking care of such priceless merchandise! Let's see what happens in the next few days.

In the meantime, Mr. Lukas Pukas is getting better and better at crawling. At Gymboree today, he crawled through tunnels and was loving it! He made new friends today and was all smiles and giggles. I love my little man! :)
